We bring a modern lifestyle experience to city living through interior design for small space living, contemporary art from local artists, and a curated collection of home furnishings and decor.
At franklinave, we support home design as a form of self expression and design homes for those challenged with minimal square footage and unique floorplans to make their space beautiful and functional. It has been our goal to make interior design affordable and accessible to more people. Through our virtual services we have helped renters and homeowners across the country save time and money by creating fully custom plans for each unique space.
franklinAve like the street?
Yes, just like the street! Named after the well known Franklin Avenue in LA and NY, consisting of several neighborhoods with a deep history of city life that inspires culture, creativity, individuality, progression, change and growth. From brownstones to bungalows, we are here to share how where we lived influenced this art and design business.
With over 15 years of multi disciplinary design experience in New York and Los Angeles, Kristy DeGina has founded company franklinAve.space to appeal to the local design challenges that come with small space city living. The concept began as a creative design space for urban apartments. She is a space planning expert in maximizing your home to be as functional as it is beautiful.
As a designer, she enjoys working in all styles of interiors, but specializes in both contemporary and transitional design. She is a self-proclaimed “minimal maximalist”. Her signature style is bold, modern, textural, and monochromatic. Influenced by both east coast and west coast city living, she likes to consider her aesthetic a blend of Old Hollywood and New New York. She studies color theory, trend forecasting, and pushes the definition of the neutral aesthetic in a dynamic way to provide clients with a truly unique and timeless space.
As an artist, she has sold numerous custom pieces and is currently working on her third collection available for purchase online. Her work consists mostly of abstract, modern art and has been most recognized for her spray paint street art and design that she has now brought to canvas. Her first NFT collection will drop in 2023. She also seeks out local makers and artists in both LA and NY for collaborations, some exclusive to franklinAve.space.
